I’m a freelance writer and editor based in Oxford, within easy reach of London. I write about all sorts of topics, including design and the creative industries (graphic design, advertising, illustration, typography), film, TV, music, career and employment issues, money, health, food and weddings.
My work has been published by the Guardian, Independent, Telegraph, Express, Computer Arts, Psychologies, SFX, Virgin Media, Film4, TheSite and many more.
Recent work includes articles about the new heroes of design for Computer Arts, Penguin’s John le Carré book covers and Kenzo’s new fashion film for Computer Arts Collection, food allergies for Observer Word of Mouth and luxe-for-less shopping for Perfect Wedding.
I’m an experienced sub editor and production editor and have freelanced in-house for the Guardian, Sunday Times, Musician, Jewish Chronicle and more. I’m also a visiting lecturer on the journalism course at London Metropolitan University.
